It is operated by two very energetic and motivated Queenslanders – Graeme and Ruth Day, who offer a professional, personalised and friendly boutique ballooning service with a smile for their clients. You’ll be in very safe hands, as you fly with the owner & CASA approved chief pilot Graeme
Day. Graeme learnt to fly balloons in France, has flown over the Mount Blanc & the Alps and has 31 years experience on 3 continents. A French journalist described Graeme as “An Australian who is raring to go, with an infectious smile revealing his love of an adventurous life”. We are the first & only balloon operator based in the Ipswich, Somerset & western side of the Scenic Rim region for over 22 years. Graeme has an intimate knowledge of the region’s weather, geography & history.

We offer a boutique ballooning experience with only one flight per day and a maximum of 10 passengers
This activity commences 45 minutes before sunrise is approximately 3 to 4 hours, includes a 1 hour Balloon Flight, Restaurant Breakfast & Flight certificate.
